Role Overview:

As the Sales Director for Application Modernization, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our Application Modernization go-to-market strategy in the UK. Your primary focus will be identifying and securing business opportunities with large enterprise customers in the BFSI sector.

You will play a critical role in driving the success of our new business development efforts by combining your sales experience and passion to support our customers in achieving their legacy modernization objectives.


Responsibilities


  • Prospect, qualify and sell to large enterprise customers within the BFSI industry in the UK
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to win, upsell and expand business
  • Participate in shaping Grape Up’s value proposition for the BFSI market
  • Continuously acquire market intelligence to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities
  • Collaborate with our pre-sales and engineering teams to close new deals
  • Support various marketing activities
  • Report to the VP of Sales

Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in selling software or software services within the BFSI market in the United Kingdom
  • Understanding of customer’s products, industry best practices, and how software solutions support clients’ business goals
  • Proven track record of successful selling to large enterprises
  • Good understanding of the software market as well as BFSI IT software architecture
  • Results-oriented with strong perseverance
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on delivering value
  • Fast learning skills and eagerness to drive change by taking the initiative
