We are looking for a results-driven, hands-on Business Development Manager to lead GiQ’s business development activities.

Our Business Development Manager is someone who can express passion for new technologies and the possibilities of Data and Advanced Analytics to enterprise customers across a range of industries within an extensive network.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • You have relevant experience and proven success in sales or business development in the software/tech industry or a startup
  • You are deeply interested in innovative fields such as AI, Data Science, and Advanced Analytics
  • You are analytical and understand the need to track everything you do
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • You are willing to travel and participate in marketing events and business meetings

Responsibilities


  • Prospect, qualify, and sell to enterprise customers across a range of industries
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to win, upsell, and expand business opportunities
  • Participate in shaping GiQ’s value proposition for the target markets
  • Continuously acquire market intelligence to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities
  • Collaborate with our pre-sales and engineering teams to close new deals
  • Support various marketing activities
  • Report directly to the CEO

Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in selling software products
  • Proven track record of successful selling to large enterprises
  • Good understanding of the software market
  • Results-oriented with strong perseverance
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on delivering value
  • Fast learning skills and eagerness to drive change by taking the initiative

Nice to have


  • Experience with ‘data’ – big data, analytics, data science, BI/DW, data integration
  • Working and understanding a startup environment would be a plus
